Muley Point Lookout, Utah

Muley Point Overlook is a remote scenic viewpoint in southeastern Utah that offers panoramic 360-degree vistas. Perched at an elevation of over 6,000 feet at the southern edge of Cedar Mesa, it provides views of the San Juan River goosenecksValley of the Gods, and the monoliths of Monument Valley in the distance. 

It is situated within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area near Mexican Hat, UT.

The overlook is reached via Muley Point Road (County Road 241), a 5-mile graded dirt road that begins at the top of the Moki Dugway on UT-261. While usually passable for 2WD passenger vehicles in dry conditions, a medium-clearance vehicle is recommended.

There are no guardrails or safety fences along the sheer cliff edges, which feature drops of over 1,000 feet.
