Mount Robson Provincial Park is one of the premier mountain parks in the Canadian Rockies. It protects Mount Robson, which rises to 3,954 m (12,972 ft) and is the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies. The park covers about 2,249 km² (869 sq mi) and borders Jasper National Park. It is also part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Berg lake trail is one of Canada’s most famous hiking trails, leading to turquoise Berg Lake with spectacular views of glaciers and Mount Robson. This is a difficult and long hike which we didn’t do, but we loved the Kinney Lake Trail, which is easier with beautiful mountain reflections.
