Moab, Utah

Moab is the main base for some of the most famous desert landscapes in the U.S.—a compact town surrounded by red rock canyons, arches, and off-road trails.

Moab sits between two major national parks, Arches and Canyonlands. It also is a base for some outstanding scenic drives. Route 279 (Potash Road) and Route 128 are pictured below. Route 12 is also spectacular.

The town is booming, there are a lot of hotels, some very good restaurants and a small nice walking street.
