Whistler

Whistler is a renowned resort town located in British Columbia, Canada, about 121 kilometers (75 miles) north of Vancouver. It’s famous for its world-class skiing and snowboarding in winter, and a plethora of outdoor activities during the summer months. There is the village, the mountain and the Peak 2 Peak Gondola.

The Village reminded us of Vail Colorado, and we loved it.

Whistler Blackcomb ski resort is one of the largest and most popular ski resorts in North America, featuring two mountains, over 200 marked trails, and numerous lifts.

Peak 2 Peak Gondola:

Holds the world record for the highest and longest lift in the world. It connects Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. I was scared and took a Xanax since we had to do this. There was one more chairlift to the very top mountain that has an overlook bridge, we didn’t do that as it was scarier, and got cool out. But the views are amazing.
