Waiheke Island, New Zealand

Just 35–40 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland, Waiheke feels like a different world — vineyards, olive groves, beaches, and small villages. It’s the most popular island escape for both locals and visitors.

We took a morning ferry for a daytrip. When we got off, we had rented from https://eridewaiheke.co.nz/. They were awesome and I couldn’t have been happier. The bikes were great, the gps on the bikes was amazing.

About 9000 people live on the island full time.

We biked around the island, went to beaches, wineries, drank and had lunch. The views are incredible and ebikes was the way to go…..

The wineries were beautiful and the wine was very good.

There are so many nice beaches we passed, but we stopped at Palm Beach.
