Seward

Seward, Alaska, is a charming coastal town located at the head of Resurrection Bay on the Kenai Peninsula. It serves as a gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park and offers a variety of outdoor activities, wildlife viewing, and scenic landscapes.

Approximately 125 miles south of Anchorage, accessible via the Seward Highway (AK-9). Around 2,700 residents with a Maritime climate with cool summers and mild winters compared to the interior of Alaska.

We spent a lot of time at the docks watching the fisherman. We went during COVID, so many of the restaurants were closed or short staffed. We had to wait hours for a table and were told most of the good fish was shipped to the lower 48. But we still loved the place.
