Maybe our favorite small town in the United States. Sedona, Arizona, is a renowned destination famous for its stunning red rock landscapes, vibrant arts scene, and spiritual atmosphere. This town has changed so much since we first went here over 30 years ago. While it is still great and beautiful, it has become commercial with T shirt shops all over. The crowds and parking have made the town less attractive, but the beauty is still amazing.
Our recent trip in 2025, we hiked Cathedral Rock. Not too long, but uphill with some steep areas and rock scrambling.

The red rocks are still amazing, Pink Jeep Tours is still there giving daily tours of the red rocks which is a great way to see the area. There is awesome hiking, good restaurants, but like all tourist places, it has gotten very expensive.

We have been to Sedona multiple times and it is different each time. The season makes a big difference, hot in the summer and snow in the winter.
