We stayed at Sugar Beach. This is probably the nicest beach area we have found in the Caribbean. The mountains add so much to the view. The hotel was amazing. It was a bit of a drive from the airport, but well worth it.
Wendy hiked the Pitons, among the largest of the world’s volcanic plugs. To the top of Gran Piton is about 2.9 miles and after a full day of drinking the early morning start was difficult to say the least. She made it with the help of work colleagues, I spent the morning reading at the beach. Probably my 2nd favorite island after St. Maarten.
