The Ramon Crater, also known as Makhtesh Ramon, is a geological feature located in the Negev Desert of southern Israel. It is the world’s largest makhtesh, a unique type of erosion crater found only in the Negev and the Sinai Peninsula. We rode camels and hiked some. The place is beautiful.
