Reykjavík, the capital and largest city of Iceland, is known for its unique blend of natural beauty, vibrant culture, and historical significance.
The best hot dog we ever had and an awesome burger place. We did go over Christmas and a lot of the restaurants were closed, but it was still a great place to walk around, I would say at night, but it was dark most of the day. This was not a problem, but just very different.
I would not call this a vibrant or pretty city. The buildings are simple, the city is small, but it is the gateway to an amazing country. We spent 6 nights here and did day trips everyday. I would like to go back in the summer to see the contrast. You can also see by the pictures, that it is mostly dark.
