Phuket Town is the capital of Phuket Province in Thailand and serves as the main hub of the island. It’s known for its charming blend of old and new, with colorful Sino-Portuguese architecture, bustling markets, and a rich history. Unlike the more tourist-heavy beaches of Patong or Kata, Phuket Town offers a more authentic, local experience.
We spent some time in Phuket town. It is very pretty with shopping, bars, restaurants. Clearly not nearly as wild as Patong.
