Patong is a popular beach town on the island of Phuket, Thailand! It’s known for its lively atmosphere, vibrant nightlife, and beautiful beach. Patong Beach itself is a major attraction, where visitors can enjoy water sports, sunbathe, or stroll along the shoreline. The town is also famous for its shopping, bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues, particularly around Bangla Road, where the nightlife scene is always buzzing.

Bangla Road (or Bangla Street) is the heart of Patong’s vibrant nightlife scene! It’s a bustling street that comes alive in the evening, with neon lights, loud music, and crowds of people exploring the many bars, nightclubs, restaurants, and shops. The street stretches from the beach down to the main road and is a major hotspot for both tourists and locals. It is one of the craziest and wildest party streets we have seen.
Nightclubs and Bars: There are tons of places to grab a drink and dance, ranging from casual beach bars to large nightclubs playing electronic dance music (EDM) or live bands.
Patong is known for its go-go bars, and Bangla Road has a number of these, where people can watch dancers perform. Many of the bars on the street had women dancing on stage.
Shows & Entertainment: Some places offer cabaret shows or ladyboy performances, adding to the diverse entertainment scene.
Restaurants & Food Stalls: Whether you’re in the mood for Thai food, international cuisine, or just a quick snack from a street vendor, you’ll find plenty of options to choose from. Plenty of live fish out in front of the restaurants.
We also took a ride south about 30 minutes and had a very nice lunch at a Pillow and Blanket. Overlooking the ocean, it is beautiful and the food was pretty good.
Phuket a something for everyone, but it can be wild and there was a ton of Traffic.
