Osorno Volcano is a strikingly symmetrical stratovolcano located in the Andes of southern Chile, near the city of Puerto Varas and the scenic Lake Llanquihue. The volcano is renowned for its classic conical shape and is a popular destination for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. We did a short but somewhat difficult hike here. The wind was howling and the views were great. Loved it. We started at the bottom of the chairlift and hiked as far as the wind would allow up. The upper lifts were closed due to the wind.
