Niagara Falls is a stunning natural wonder located on the border between the United States and Canada. It’s renowned for its massive and powerful waterfalls, which consist of three main sections:
- Horseshoe Falls (also known as the Canadian Falls) – This is the largest and most iconic of the three, located on the Canadian side.
- American Falls – Located on the American side, it’s slightly smaller but still impressive.
- Bridal Veil Falls – Also on the American side, this smaller fall is situated next to the American Falls.
The combined flow of these waterfalls makes Niagara Falls one of the most powerful and captivating waterfalls in the world. The area is a major tourist attraction, offering activities such as boat tours that get close to the base of the falls, observation towers with panoramic views, and a variety of parks and walking trails.
In addition to its natural beauty, Niagara Falls has a bustling tourist district with restaurants, casinos, and entertainment options. The falls are illuminated at night, creating a breathtaking display of colors, and there are also seasonal attractions, like winter ice skating and summer fireworks.
We have been here several times through the years and it is always an amazing sight. The lights at night are also beautiful.
