New Orleans

Our favorite city in the United States for a party weekend. New Orleans, Louisiana, is a city renowned for its vibrant culture, rich history, and distinctive music and cuisine. Often called “The Big Easy,” it’s famous for its lively festivals, historic architecture, and unique blend of French, Spanish, and Creole influences.

We generally spend most of our time in the French Quarter and these are the big highlights, but there is more to the city if you have time to explore.

  • Bourbon Street is known for its lively nightlife, bars, and music clubs. It’s the epicenter of the city’s vibrant entertainment scene.
  • Jackson Square is a historic park surrounded by beautiful buildings, including the St. Louis Cathedral. It’s a great place for street performers, artists, and historic tours.
  • Royal Street is famous for its antique shops, art galleries, and historic architecture. It’s also home to several jazz clubs.

We were also there when we were a lot younger, still loved the town. If you haven’t been, it is a great weekend.
