The Prado Museum (Museo del Prado) is one of the world’s premier art museums, housing a vast collection of European art from the 12th to early 20th centuries. We loved it and would have gone back a 2nd day if we had the time. Certainly in our top 5 museums of the world. Works by Velázquez, Goya, El Greco, and Titian. Key pieces include “Las Meninas” by Velázquez and “The Third of May 1808” by Goya.
