The Kancamagus Highway — often just called “The Kanc” — is one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the Northeast United States. Officially New Hampshire Route 112, it runs 34.5 miles through the heart of the White Mountain National Forest, connecting Lincoln (west end) and Conway (east end).

It’s especially famous in autumn for its fiery fall foliage, but it’s gorgeous year-round — with mountains, waterfalls, covered bridges, and peaceful forest pull-offs. We drove it in both directions and hit most of the pulls offs.
