The Inca Trail from KM 104 is a popular alternative route for those looking to experience the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, especially for those with limited time or seeking a less crowded option. This section of the Inca Trail is known as the “Short Inca Trail” or “One-Day Inca Trail”. We did this trail with a guide which is highly recommended.

Starting Point: Kilometer 104 on the train track from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes.
Ending Point: Machu Picchu.
Duration: Approximately 6 to 8 hours (including time spent at Machu Picchu).
