Horseshoe Bend is a stunning natural landmark located near Page, Arizona, on the Colorado River. It’s famous for its dramatic meander, where the river has carved a horseshoe-shaped bend in the canyon, creating a visually striking and photogenic landscape.

We went in 2025 and once before in about 2000. It costs about $10 to park and can get very crowded now, but it is spectacular and a short easy hike from the parking area.

The pictures below are older and maybe you can see there is no one else there. Times change.

Horseshoe Bend is situated approximately 1.5 miles south of the town of Page, Arizona. It is easily accessible from U.S. Route 89. When we went there the first time, there were no fences and we were afraid to get near the edge.
