Haleakalā National Park, located on the island of Maui, is renowned for its stunning landscapes, including the massive volcanic crater and the diverse ecosystems that range from tropical rainforests to arid deserts.
A lot has changed since we visited. Now you need reservations for sunrise and you can no longer take bicylces down the road from the summit. It is still an incredible sight, but be prepared it can be very cold at the top. I would love to go back and hike in the crater.
