French Riveria

We have spent a lot of time on the French Riveria and absolutely love it. We did this so long ago, that we do not have a ton of pictures. We were there in 1985, 1992 and 2014. The French Riviera (Côte d’Azur) is a stunning Mediterranean coastline along the southeastern coast of France, known for its glamorous resorts, beautiful beaches, and vibrant culture.

Towns we visited include Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Saint-Tropez, Antibes, Eze, Grasse, Juan les Pins, St. Paul…..The beaches in Nice are rocky, and many of the fanicer beaches are in front of the big hotels. The French Riveria is a great place to spend 1-2 weeks with so much to see and do. We will certainly have to get back there soon.

One of my Favorite towns was Eze, high up in the hills, with great views of the corniches. Below are pictures from Saint-Paul-de-Vence, another great small town on the French Riveria. We suggest you pick a town in the middle and do multiple day trips. We stayed in Juan les Pins and there was some great nightlife but easy transport to all of the coast.
