Cuenca is a captivating city in central Spain, renowned for its medieval architecture, dramatic landscapes, and unique historical charm. Very cute town and the hanging houses are a site to see. We visited Cuenca as a day trip from Madrid, less than a 2 hour drive.
The hanging houses are iconic and perched precariously on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Huécar River. They are one of Cuenca’s most famous landmarks.
