Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, is a beautiful city located in northern Idaho, near the western border of the state. It’s known for its stunning natural surroundings and a variety of recreational activities. We spent a day here and it is a booming resort town.
We also made it over to Wallace Idaho. Wallace’s entire downtown area is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, making it one of the largest historic districts in the U.S. In Wallace, Idaho, there is a unique and whimsical attraction called the “Center of the Universe”. It’s not an official scientific designation but a fun and quirky local landmark.
