Channel Islands National Park, located off the coast of Southern California, is a unique and relatively remote national park encompassing five of the eight Channel Islands: Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, San Miguel, and Santa Barbara. Known for its rich biodiversity, stunning landscapes, and opportunities for adventure, the park offers a range of experiences for visitors.

We took a morning ferry to Santa Cruz and spent the day hiking. This is a very nice park, with great views and certainly underrated.

The largest of the Channel Islands, Santa Cruz Island features diverse landscapes, from rugged mountains to sandy beaches.

We only went to 1 island and there are several others that we may visit in the future.
