Capri is a stunning island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrentine Peninsula, known for its dramatic landscapes, upscale atmosphere, and natural beauty. A favorite destination for both day-trippers and those staying longer, Capri has been a beloved retreat since the time of the Roman emperors. We took a day trip from Positano and were actually disappointed. It was pretty, the colors were nice. It was expensive, somewhat crowded and OK. I know everyone wants to go, but I would not put it at the top of my list. We took a boat ride around the island, the blue grotto was closed, but we passed by. We took a ride up to anacapri and certainly some of the sights are beautiful.
