Cambridge is a historic city in England, renowned for its prestigious university, the University of Cambridge, which was founded in 1209. The city is famous for its stunning architecture, including the iconic King’s College Chapel, and its picturesque setting along the River Cam, where punting is a popular activity which we loved. We slowly went down the River Cam enjoying just how beautiful this city is. It was never bombed as we were told during WWII as the German’s were hoping to use it as a northern capital. Well worth a visit from London.
