We were so surprised, we loved Bend. Bend, Oregon, is a vibrant city known for its stunning natural landscapes, outdoor recreational opportunities, and a burgeoning food and craft beer scene. We went to a brew restaurant, walked downtown, the Deschutes River Trail and just fell in love with the city. There were fires in the nearby area, which made it a little hazy, but gave us great sunsets and kept it very warm.
There were deer walking around and just hanging out on peoples front lawns. It is no wonder this city is booming with now over 100,000 residents.
