We drove into Belize after a week in Guatemala. We were in search of a good beach and place to relax. After a night in Belize City, we took the ferry to San Pedro, Belize – Ambergris Caye. San Pedro is the largest town on Ambergris Caye, which is the largest island in Belize. We stayed at a nice resort and the highlight was swimming with the sharks and snorkeling. The sharks were scary, but we were there, so we had to try it. The town had some good restaurants and was nice to walk around for a bit.
