Barcelona is a vibrant, culturally rich city on the northeastern coast of Spain, known for its stunning architecture, lively atmosphere, and beautiful beaches. When I think of Barcelona, I think of the following:
Gaudi, Beaches, Nightlife, Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, The Boqueria Market, and Plaça Reial. This is one of our top 5 favorite cities and we have been here 3 times.

An interesting note on the buildings, the corners are cut off. In crowded urban areas, cutting off corners can enhance visibility at intersections, making it safer for pedestrians and vehicles.

Barcelona is a city full of life, culture, and history, offering something for every type of traveler. Whether you’re interested in architecture, art, history, or simply enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, Barcelona has it all.
Gaudi is everywhere, from buildings to parks. Just loved it.

The beach in Barcelona has dozens of personalities. Each beach is a little different. We spent 1 day walking almost the entire length of the beaches. We started at the south end, at the W hotel and then took the bus back when we got to Mar Bella, just under 4 KM. The hop on hop off bus in Barcelona was the best we have seen anywhere.

There are so many great museums, we went to the Miro museum which was nice and had great views of the city from high up on the hill.
