Bangkok is one of the most populous cities in the world, with a population of around 10 million people in the city proper and over 14 million in the metropolitan area. The city is known for its dense crowds, especially in popular areas like the city center, markets, and transportation hubs. During peak hours, the streets can be packed with locals and tourists alike, and traffic jams are common. The crowds contribute to the lively atmosphere of the city, but it can also feel overwhelming at times, especially in areas like Chatuchak Market, Khao San Road, and along the riverside. Despite the hustle and bustle, the city has a certain charm that draws visitors from around the globe.
Lumpini Park is a large, peaceful green space located in the heart of Bangkok. It’s a serene escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, offering a variety of activities for both locals and tourists. The park spans 58 hectares and features walking paths, large open lawns, a scenic lake where you can rent paddle boats, and plenty of shaded areas for relaxation. There is no shortage of monitor lizards.






Bangkok is known for its nightlife and there are so many areas to see. We couldn’t get to them all.


























The Chao Phraya River is one of the most important and iconic landmarks in Bangkok. Flowing through the heart of the city, it stretches over 200 kilometers, connecting various provinces in central Thailand to the Gulf of Thailand. The river has played a crucial role in the development of Bangkok, historically serving as a major trade route and the lifeblood of the city’s economy. We took the hop on hop off boat to get a feeling for the city.










Bangkok is a shopping paradise, with a wide range of malls that cater to every style and budget. There are many huge and beautiful malls to shop, eat and escape the heat. They include: Siam Paragon, MBK Center, Central World, Terminal 21, Icon Siam, Emporium and Platinum.












Each mall has its own vibe, making them perfect for different types of shopping experiences. Whether you’re into luxury goods, trendy fashion, or bargain hunting, Bangkok’s malls have something for everyone!
The city has everything from a great skyline, bars, restaurants and different neighborhoods.
















Chinatown was fun, but during the day, you cannot get alcohol due to local laws.
