We booked an Amazon hike through our hotel, the Hakuna Matata Amazon Lodge not far from the town of Tena. This adventurea did not disappoint. We drove to a park, put on huge knee high type rubber boots and started our private guided trek through the Amazon. We saw monkeys, piranhas, and went swimming in a beautiful small lake.
