We stayed in Albuferia, and hiked to some beaches, drove to others and even took a train to one. We need to get back to Portugal and see the rest of the country.
Ponta da Piedade: Near Lagos, this dramatic cliff formation offers stunning views and sea caves. It’s a popular spot for boat tours and hiking.
Benagil Cave: One of the most famous sea caves in the Algarve, accessible by boat or kayak. The cave has a beautiful beach inside and a natural skylight. We went kayaking here.
The beaches were beautiful and below you can see we had to hike 200 steps down to get there.
The towns were nice, but not the reason to visit the Algarve.
