Split is a vibrant city on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and lively atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised with Split, wasn’t sure what to expect but we enjoyed our time here with a day trip to Krka National Park.
Historical Sites
- Diocletian’s Palace: This UNESCO World Heritage site is the heart of Split. Built by the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century, it’s a well-preserved ancient palace complex that now houses shops, restaurants, and residences.
