Estes Park is a beautiful mountain town in northern Colorado and the main gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. It is an excellent base for dramatic mountain scenery, alpine lakes, wildlife viewing, scenic drives and hiking. The town itself is walkable, with shops, restaurants and a riverside promenade.
The Stanley Hotel, is a landmark historic hotel famous for its connection to Stephen King’s The Shining. Visit the grounds, enjoy the mountain views or book a history or ghost tour.
