Winslow is a small historic town in northern Arizona, best known for one very famous line in rock music.
Winslow became iconic because of the 1972 song Take It Easy by The Eagles, which includes the lyric:
“Well, I’m a-standin’ on a corner in Winslow, Arizona…”

That line turned an otherwise quiet Route 66 town into a must-stop road trip destination.
