We visited the Waitomo Caves and we were actually a little disappointed. The glow worms were interesting for a few minutes, but not something we would run back to see. No cameras allowed until the very end, so not that many pictures.

The Blue Springs walkway was a nice 90 minute walk. The water here is so clear, you can see thru and all the plant life growing underneath. This was along the road toward Routoura.

The North Island, while not as spectacular as the South Island, still had a lot to see and the drives were very special. We did a lot of it in bad weather, but you can still see the rugged landscapes and green hills. A lot of this drive was during the storm and rainout, when we could not hike the Tongariro Crossing.

The animals on the side of the road also make for a fun drive. Sheep, Cows, Horses, etc…
