Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada

Mont-Tremblant is both a mountain & a resort town in the Laurentian Mountains of Québec, roughly 130 km northwest of Montréal.

The resort (ski area) is one of the best in Eastern North America. I skied here many years ago and it was very cold, but this trip was just for hiking, eating and enjoying the town.

The municipality has several villages/districts: there’s the Pedestrian Village at the base of the ski mountain, an Old Village by Lake Mercier, and the downtown / St-Jovite area. We spent our time in the Pedestrian Village and then did a small hike above the village with great views.

We loved the gondola from the parking area into the Pedestrian Village, we walked it and took the ride.

We originally planned to hike to the top, but we got a late start and there was a good chance of rain, so we did one of the smaller hikes, which was beautiful.

The drive into town also had a nice spot to stop.
