Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most underrated safari parks, but many experienced travelers consider it a gem because of its landscapes and wildlife density.
Situated in northern Tanzania, about 2–3 hours’ drive southwest of Arusha.
Often combined with safaris to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara.
We had a great lunch at the hotel in the park.
We stayed at the Sangaiwe Tented Lodge. There were monkeys outside all over and a great view from the main dining room.
