Entebbe sits right on the shores of Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake and the world’s largest tropical lake. It’s one of the most scenic spots in Uganda, and many travelers use it as their first or last stop since the international airport is located there.
We crossed the equator several times on this trip, but this was the most memorial stop in Uganda. This is Kikorongo, near Queen Elizabeth National Park in Kasese District.
