Monument Valley is a stunning and iconic region located on the Arizona-Utah border, within the Navajo Nation. It’s renowned for its dramatic red sandstone buttes, mesas, and spires that have become emblematic of the American Southwest.











There have been so many movies filmed here and you can go on a tour. We had to wait on a long car line just to get to the booth to pay and get in. They had the road closed and were only letting tours go in their vans, so no self driving cars. Their excuse was you need a 4 wheel drive, however, we had previously done the drive no problem without a 4 wheel drive. If you haven’t taken the tour or drive, we think you must.
















Forrest Gump Point is a renowned viewpoint located along U.S. Route 163 in Monument Valley, Utah, which gained fame from the 1994 film “Forrest Gump.” We got lucky and go the pictures below with no other cars.
