Zion National Park

One of our top 5 National Parks, we have been here 6 times and it is different each time. From the winter to the summer, from 30 years ago to now. It is certainly more crowded than it was, but the views, hikes and sights are outstanding.

It is also one of the most visited national parks, being only a few hours by car from Las Vegas. Zion National Park is a stunning destination located in southwestern Utah, known for its dramatic red rock landscapes and deep canyons.

There are so many great hikes, including, Angels Landing, the Narrows, Emerald pools and one of the best is just outside the eastern end of the park called the Canyon Overlook Trail.

Zion in the snow is so different.

We recently hiked to Observation point, from the East Mesa trail. There is another post of just this hike, but it may be the best view in all of Zion.
