San Sebastián, also known as Donostia in Basque, is a beautiful coastal city in the Basque Country of northern Spain. Renowned for its stunning beaches, vibrant culinary scene, and charming old town, San Sebastián is a popular destination for both its natural beauty and cultural attractions.
San Sebastián is known for its high concentration of Michelin-starred restaurants. Notable establishments include Arzak, Mugaritz, and Akelarre, offering innovative and world-class dining experiences, but certainly not cheap. There are plenty of other great restaurants and our hotel was also teriffic. We stayed at the Maria Cristina.
La Concha Beach is one of the most famous urban beaches in Europe, known for its picturesque crescent shape and golden sand.
We stumbled upon the best light show we have ever seen. We were mesmerized by the display of lights and colors on the building.
