Queralbs

Queralbs is a small village located in the Catalan Pyrenees, in the province of Girona, Spain. Known for its scenic beauty and traditional mountain village charm, Queralbs is an excellent destination for those seeking outdoor adventures and a taste of Catalan rural life. It is known for its traditional stone houses and charming mountain architecture. This was our favorite town in the Pyrenees because of the stone houses.

We planned a day trip through the Pyrenees, driving from Barcelona, to Vic to Ripoll, to Queralbs and finally to the Regional Park of the Catalan Pryenees. We didn’t make it to the park as we spent more time in each city than anticipated, but the trip was so much fun and get had a bite, drink or coffee in each town. Queralbs is about 30 minutes from Ripoll.
