Granada

Granada is a historic city located in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. Renowned for its stunning architecture, rich history, and vibrant cultural scene, Granada is a must-visit destination for those interested in exploring Spain’s Moorish heritage and experiencing its unique blend of cultures. We only went to Granada to see The Alhambra.

The Alhambra is A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Alhambra is a magnificent palace and fortress complex that exemplifies Moorish art and architecture. The Nasrid Palaces (with intricate stucco work and tile mosaics), the Generalife Gardens (beautifully landscaped gardens and fountains), and the Alcazaba (the fortress with stunning views). I am glad we visited, but we may be the only people I know that were totally disappointed. We took a guided tour that was just awful. The guide was so slow and it seemed like he deliberately talked as slowly as possible. The Alhambra is nice, but it probably depends on the tour you take.
