Girona is a historic and charming city located in northeastern Spain, in the Catalonia region. Known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, vibrant cultural scene, and picturesque setting along the Onyar River, Girona is a delightful destination with plenty to offer. We combined Girona with the Dali Museum in Figueres for a fantastic day trip from Barcelona. We could have spent more time here.
We visited The Jewish Quarter (El Call), it is one of the best-preserved Jewish quarters in Spain, with narrow, winding streets and historic buildings.
