Formentera is a small, beautiful island in the Balearic Islands of Spain, known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and relaxed atmosphere. It is the smallest of the four main Balearic Islands, with Ibiza being its larger and more famous neighbor.
Playa de Ses Illetes is often regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean, Ses Illetes is known for its white sand and clear, shallow waters.
We stayed in Ibiza for several days and took the ferry to Formentera in the morning. We rented bicycles and toured the islands beaches and had a great lunch at Ses Illetes. My bike did break down, so that was a problem, but we made it back for the return ferry.
